So, we need you as a Server Windows Engineer with profound knowledge in operating, securing and migrating Microsoft Active Directory, implementing and govern our Hybrid identities within Microsoft 365 environment.

You also assist in developing, operating and, maintaining our (virtualized) Windows environment while taking care of continuous operation, monitoring and problem solving to serve high availability services in a mixed environment of office and production IT. You will also support our Identity team to implement Identity & Access Management as well as (modern) authentication solutions in our Entra ID environment.

Your tasks: 

• Design, implement, and manage (virtualized) Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and security configurations

• Lead and execute central Active Directory Migration project, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption to business operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements

• Patch management, maintenance, and orchestration of Windows server infrastructure in close coordination with our IT security team

• Support governance processes for Identity Management according SWISS KRONO's IT strategy

• 2nd and 3rd level support of Windows and identity related services and topics

Your skills:

• At least 5 years experiences with Windows and Active Directory infrastructure in multinational companies

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a correspondingly convincing professional experience in the area of Windows server management or Active Directory implementation & migration

• Good knowledge of System Center Suite, Microsoft 365 services, Terminal Services & PowerShell

• Experience with virtualized cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS or comparable

• Profound knowledge of one additional topic, like: Identity Governance and Administration solution (e. g. Microsoft Entra ID Governance), Privileged Access Management (PAM), e. g. CyberArk Privileged Access Manager, Delinea Secret Server, Microsoft Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Public Key Infrastructure based on Microsoft CA, Centralized log management and Monitoring or Automation with CI/CD pipelines

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.

• English (B2 or higher)

• Knowledge of German or Polish is an advantage
