  • Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline

Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate software systems that power Slack’s large and diverse datasets
  • Participate with other Salesforce Engineers in the strategic development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for team projects and programs
  • Assess build vs buy decisions at every stage of our Data Infrastructure
  • Provide visibility into the health of Salesforce’s data infrastructure
  • Assist the Salesforce Data Infrastructure team in automating the lifecycle of all Salesforce software systems and platforms that process data
  • Evolve maturity of our monitoring systems and processes to improve visibility and failures detection in our infrastructure
  • Create implementations to expose actionable data to internal and external partners
