Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s Degree with 15+ years of experience
  • No less than five (5) total years of experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least one (1) year of that total being within the past 5 years
  • Active DoD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security+ or equivalent)
  • Deep experience managing applications within a Kubernetes cluster
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux systems, specifically CentOS/RHEL/Rocky
  • Strong experience in cloud automation and configuration management
  • Ability to work with the cloud architecture team to support cloud migration, data security, and deployment strategies
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure tools, processes, and practices, including cloud resource provisioning, deployment, microservices, and DevOps methodologies
Responsibilities
  • Administer, develop, configure, and maintain Kubernetes-based cloud and on-premises systems
  • Architect and deploy hybrid cloud solutions with a focus on multi-level security for DoD SAP environments
  • Support and automate cloud environments, improving efficiency through scripting and configuration management tools
  • Manage and optimize applications running in Kubernetes clusters across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Propose and implement cloud-agnostic service adoption through design, training, and system monitoring
  • Work with the cloud architecture team to drive cloud migration, data security, and deployment strategies
  • Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with DoD security directives (DOD 8570 IAT I/II)
  • Design and implement secure, scalable on-prem and cloud networking solutions while managing routers, switches, and security appliances
  • Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline IT operations
  • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational workflows
  • Transfer knowledge through documentation and training for the software development organization
  • Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions
  • Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to achieve cloud infrastructure objectives
  • Identify opportunities for automation and develop scalable solutions that enhance cloud infrastructure efficiency
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing and managing secure hybrid cloud architectures for DoD or enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with DoD SAP requirements and multi-level security cloud implementations
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to improve operational workflows
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience in training teams on cloud-based best practices
