Requirements
  • 10 years’ experience providing administrative support in a federal environment.
  • Ability to take responsibility for multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills.
  • Candidate must be able to perform with minimal supervision in a high pace environment.
  • Possess good judgment and be able to prioritize tasks to meet mission requirements.
  • Demonstrate and apply attention to detail and flexibility in day-to-day work along with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
Responsibilities
  • Manage the SVP’s agenda by organizing and prioritizing the high incoming flow of work, responding to and scheduling requests for meetings, invitations, and requests for participation at special events; booking official appointments and meetings; and maintaining a control and follow-up system to ensure timely response.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents for the SVP office.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including email, phone calls, and mail.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with travel coordination and travel voucher processing for the office.
  • Maintain records and databases, including tracking projects and deadlines.
  • Processes internal Ethics clearances for speakers’ participation at events or widely attended gatherings (WAG).
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
