Requirements
- Six or more years of application development experience in BASE24 products.
- BASE24-atm (NCR, Diebold, etc.), BASE24-pos on HP Tandem platform.
- Two or more years of experience in BASE24 architect/designer level role.
- Strong knowledge of ATM and POS device handlers and ISO message formats.
- Ability to provide design solutions and can work with different modules and make tactical decisions which will have impact to business.
- Strong development experience in BASE24, TAL, TACL, COBOL and Screen COBOL programming languages.
- Expert knowledge in design of BASE24 modules AUTH, DH, EMV, HISO, VISA & MCInterface.
- Expert knowledge on PATHWAY, TAL, TACL, FUP, DEBUG.
- Expert knowledge on testing tools.
- Expert knowledge on ATM's config files.
- Expert knowledge on Security modules like HSM, Atalla, TSS & Key Encryption.
- Proficient in ISO 8583 message formats and Global/Regional Card Schemes e.g.Visa, MC, NYCE, STAR etc.
- Strong trouble shooting / application level debug skills is a must.
- In depth experience of project development cycle
- In depth experience working with users/client to identify and specify complexbusiness requirements and processes
- In depth experience on research and evaluate alternative solutions and makesrecommendations.
Responsibilities
- Provide design solutions for BASE24 projects and can work with different modules; make tactical decisions impacting the business.
- Collaborate with developers across modules to implement BASE24 architectures including AUTH, DH, EMV, HISO, VISA & MCInterface modules.
- Provide expert guidance on PATHWAY, TAL, TACL, FUP, and debugging tools to support development and testing.
- Triage and troubleshoot application level issues in BASE24 environments and conduct root cause analysis.
- Participate in the project development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Engage with users/clients to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes; translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.
- Research and evaluate alternative BASE24 solutions and make recommendations.
