Role: Consultant
Role Summary:
The Consultant will work within Market Operations TRO team. The role offers excellent exposure to someone looking to develop their career in a regulatory reporting function. The position will provide support to the APAC regulations and within a global framework. Partnering with compliance, front office and technology teams.
What will you Do:
As a Consultant with extensive experience in Transaction Reporting (MAS, ASIC) and proven ability to handle compliance and audit reviews, completing projects with timeliness, completeness and accuracy. you will help to shape the strategy and to define, refine, and deliver the APAC regulatory projects. You will own the BAU and implementation of APAC regulations, design controls, responsible for key metrics and MIS. Is accounting for ensuring the various transactions and trade reporting is completed to various ARMS in APAC jurisdictions on a daily basis.
Knowledge/Skillsets:
Deep understanding of ASIC, MAS transaction reporting requirements and guidelines.
Strong knowledge of controls and BAU operations in transaction reporting.
Ability to drive projects / business analysis / stakeholder management. Experience of collaborating across Technology, Projects, Compliance/Audit Teams in driving regulatory change initiatives.
Sound knowledge of FX derivatives products.
Experience in managing a small squad of 2-3 members.
Ability to identify and drive implementation of necessary process improvements or controls to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Analytical ability to identify and understand problems and provide effective solutions
Highly motivated individual who has a proven record of using initiative to resolve problems
