Assistant Manager

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager, General Ledger, Indirect Procurement position will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Finance Manager. Watch “Culture is our Passion” to learn more about us.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

• Well-versed with Month end /quarter end close process along with SOX control. This position relies heavily on interaction of logistics, Supply chain and corporate accounting functions.
• Provide financial analysis for the site and business unit controlling by preparing and commenting monthly reporting, detailed planning, target-actual comparisons, gap analyses or any special reports.
• Identify potentials, opportunities, and risks for the development of the country financials and reporting,
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Support and management of cross-functional projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial statements and KPIs to the corporate finance team in California
• Maintain full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across all financial functions
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure the subsidiary maintains financial health.
• Oversee treasury functions, ensuring liquidity management and cash forecasting align with corporate policies.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and processes that ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
• Drive improvements in financial systems to support scalability as the subsidiary grows.

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Commerce or Professional Qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Strong General ledger accounting expertise (8-10 years’ experience), preferred experience on long term asset hardware, Manufacturing, Logistics, distribution companies and infrastructure companies.
• Hands on experience in General Ledger, Intercompany, Bank reconciliation and good knowledge in US GAAP.
• Strong analytical knowledge on trend analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Macros, PowerPoint and Power BI knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in NetSuite environment.
• Flexible to work in US time zone.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

• Familiarity with financial statements and frequently used reports: such as aging reports, general ledgers, payment reports, income statements, balance sheet, and cash flows, multibook reporting in USGAAP, SOX controls, and general requirements.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
