Requirements
  • CPA with 5+ years of accounting experience, public company or fast-growing environment preferred
  • Proficiency in SaaS revenue accounting under U.S. GAAP.
  • Demonstrated leadership, including in mentoring teams.
  • Experience with implementing processes and systems related to revenue operations and accounting
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly revenue close process. Oversee reconciliations of revenue-related accounts and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
  • Stay current on revenue recognition guidance and compliance
  • Serve as a partner to our cross-functional teams, including Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Strategic Finance
  • Provide education and guidance in contract negotiations to enable strategic decision-making while addressing financial and accounting considerations.
  • Review customer contracts and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue accounting in line with ASC 606.
  • Analyze large and complex revenue transactions and provide appropriate revenue guidance.
  • Develop and maintain revenue policies and process documentation
  • Establish internal controls over revenue processes and financial reporting.
  • Support revenue compliance requirements, including the SOC1 and financial statement audits and tax compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our revenue accounting operations and systems.
