Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in an outsourcing role, including strategic vendor management and/or Third Party Management within the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of a broad range of outsourcing activities, business resilience regulation and its application in retail financial services
  • Experience in developing service management and monitoring processes
  • Strategic planning capability, demonstrating internal and external engagement in the strategy
  • Deep appreciation of consumer and business customer conduct matters in relation to financial services
  • Comprehensive appreciation of Risk Management and Governance in a financial institution
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments in respect of any proposed outsourcing arrangement on an ongoing basis
  • Stakeholder relationship management skills
Responsibilities
  • Providing a single point of contact for Entity outsourcing oversight and management
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with local regulations / guidelines for outsourcing
  • Ensuring the Operational Resiliency of important business services being delivered to Entity customers
  • Managing overall Techco performance through monitoring of SLAs with suitable local governance oversight
  • Ensuring service delivery products are fit for local regulatory purposes
  • Requesting, overseeing and agreeing changes to the internal outsourcing agreement
  • Escalating incidents and issues that are not resolved at a Departmental level, including near misses, risk incidents and regulatory breaches
  • Overseeing TechCo billing for accuracy and value for money
  • Ensuring exit strategy/plan is in place for exiting TechCo services, based on local regulatory requirements
  • Conducting (and approving at suitable local Governance forums) 'Due Diligence' on TechCo as required by local policies and outsourcing regulations/guidelines
  • Collaborate with Australia and New Zealand business owners to identify and measure applicable SLA metrics related to all third party services
  • Collaborate with Australia and New Zealand business owners and SMEs to identify region specific inherent risks of third party services and ensure risk assessments are accurate, and lead the coordination of periodic control testing (both TPRM and general risk related key controls)
  • Ensure all identified controls needed to onboard a third party product/service are addressed contractually and implemented in alignment with business needs, risk appetite and Australia and New Zealand regulations
