Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Solid grasp of mathematics, with a strong foundation in calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
  • Proficient with applying modern data science methods (time-series modeling, machine learning, and optimization).
  • Strong Python coding skills to develop numerical models.
  • Experience with database management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) complex analytical and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical employees.
  • Ability to problem solve and ask teammates for help when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Apply modern advanced analytics methods (predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and optimization), as well as a solid grasp of the mathematics used for each method and strong Python coding skills to develop numerical models.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) complex analytical and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical employees.
  • Within defined guidelines and framework, use techniques that integrate traditional and non-traditional datasets and methods to enable analytical solutions.
  • Apply predictive analytics, machine learning, simulation, and optimization techniques to generate internal insights and enable customer-facing applications; participates in building analytical solutions leveraging internal and external applications to deliver value and create competitive advantage.
  • Translate complex analytical and technical concepts to non-technical employees.
