Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions (Sales) Engineer or Architect
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent technical experience
  • Strong background with big data platforms (Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.), data lakes (Snowflake, DataBricks), streaming analytics (Kafka), log management (ElasticSearch, SumoLogic, etc.), or SIEM (Splunk, Devo, Qradar, Exabeam, etc.)
  • Some code writing proficiency (C/C++, Shell, Perl, Python)
  • Experience with RegEx and writing parsers
  • Background in cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) and technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Ability to demonstrate product value and use cases
  • Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive or alternative technologies
  • Concise written and oral communication skills
  • Experience successfully selling to mid-to-large customers
  • Drive the Evaluation/POC through a defined process
  • Availability to travel to visit prospects and customers
Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue from Strategic Accounts across the region through following up on multiple lead sources
  • Develop new clients and sell directly to customers while leveraging the channel community
  • Run a sophisticated sales process from prospecting to closure
  • Partner with the channel team to drive both net-new and recurring revenue
  • Become an insider within the Cyber Security Industry and an expert of SentinelOne products
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
