Responsibilities: 

• Lead, develop, and support a small team of AI researchers and engineers in building state of the art ML models that shape the future of video software.

• Play a critical role in researching and creating novel transformer-based architectures and applying them to solve real world problems.

• Lead the development and execution of our AI roadmap and long term strategy, and evaluate the technical and product trade-offs for ML related features.

• Collaborate with the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions’ users.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of ML industry experience (or PhD with 4+ years of ML industry experience).

• Strong leadership skills, with experience in establishing the technical direction for a high-performing team of AI / ML engineers.

• Advanced level knowledge of modern techniques in machine learning and deep learning, particularly in transformer architectures.

• Demonstrated experience in researching, architecting, and training deep learning models, including but not limited to GANs, Diffusion models, and NeRFs.

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures).
