  • AA degree preferred, accounting major preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in accounting
  • Analytical and excellent organizational skills and teamwork environment
  • Able to work independently and to work autonomously but also as a team member
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of accounting and accounting software preferred
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, understand directions, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility, organization, and self-motivation
  • Adaptable to change
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department
  • Process and mail out Late Enrollment Payment statements on a monthly basis
  • Handle the requests from member service department and enrollment department regarding the member payment status
  • Import data to the accounting system
  • Monitor accounts to ensure member payments are up to date
  • Make deposit to the bank and record member payment into the system. Handle Cash Management & maintain daily cash flow
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements and process adjustments
  • Submit positive pay report to bank twice a week
  • Assist check tracer request from other departments
  • Prepare required documents for auditing
  • Perform other duties, projects, and actions as assigned
