Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator Ito join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Maintains connectivity for enterprise network assets to ensure compliance and secure operations on both unclassified and classified networks (e.g., SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS)

• Ensure all network switches and routers are operational, properly configured, and compliant with security requirements, such as DISA STIG

• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network devices to ensure optimalperformance

• Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring of firewalls, intrusion protection, and intrusion detection systems and for network access control and authentication in accordance with ATO requirements, cybersecurity policies, and standards

• Implement necessary security measures to protect specialized systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats

• Collaborate with ISSOs and stakeholders in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field

• Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:

  • CCNA-Security

  • CySA+

  • GICSP

  • GSEC

  • Security+ CE

  • CND

  • SSCP

• If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required

• If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Relevant industry standard certifications such as Comptia Network+, Cisco/Juniper, or AWS Advanced Networking

Clearance Requirements: 

• This position requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
