  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
  • US Citizenship Required
  • EIT and/or Professional Engineering (PE) license in Fire Protection Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
  • Experience with fire protection system design software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Upon sponsorship you must be able to obtain a Qatar ID (QID).
Responsibilities
  • Design, review, and implement fire protection systems and strategies for various construction projects.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and develop fire safety plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to integrate fire protection solutions.
  • Interpret and apply applicable NFPA Standards, International Building Code (IBC), and other applicable codes and standards (Government Standards – Unified Facilities Criteria, DoS, OBO, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
  • Perform inspections and testing of fire protection systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to fire safety.
  • Participate in training and emergency response planning.

  • Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working on international projects, particularly in the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with local fire safety regulations in Qatar.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
