As a Summer 2023 Software Engineer intern, you will join one of the teams to work on projects, solving unique challenges, processes and tools supporting development of robust and highly performant client/server ecosystems,directly impacting the top-line revenue for the company.
The ideal candidate is a strong programmer who thinks creatively, is naturally innovative, highly collaborative, and has a passion for developing software with features that are far reaching and have real impact.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and learn with engineers and multi-functional teamsincluding Product Managers and internal stakeholders.
Have proficiency in at least one or more programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C++, Python, Javascript, HTML to develop components and services
Exhibit technical ownership of your code, and ensure code quality by testing (unit, integration and load tests).
Get exposure to AWS cloud platform services.
Have solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis
Work in a scrum team environment and build collaborative relationships
Apply communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
What You Will Learn/Gain:
How to build world class enterprise grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services
Software engineering best practices with respect to Development, Quality, Release, and Engineering Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, AWS Platform in particular
Experience building automation frameworks and infrastructure to improve efficient of development workflow
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field, or enrolled in non-traditional education, such as coding boot camps or industry-related vocational classes and returning back to school or program following the completion of this internship
A mix of previous internship, school project, volunteer and leadership experience is also important
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized base salary between $41,000 and $81,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
