  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years’ experience as an internal salesperson
  • Knowledgeable about private market investment strategies
  • Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Possesses the ability to plan, organize, develop, and deliver effective plans / presentations to a targeted audience.
  • Knowledge of HNW/UHNW investors and/or family offices preferred.
  • Graduated from a top-tier undergraduate university, ideally with a business focus. CFA/CAIA preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Prospecting new clients, services existing clients, and meeting coordination alongside external partner(s)
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with team members to establish and achieve sales targets. Serves as the initial contact for problem resolution. Research accounts and/or elevates issues to solve problems
  • Use of SalesForce CRM for all interactions that leads to reports on sales activity and production as required
  • Maintains successful relationships with colleagues including but not limited to the broader investor relations team, investment teams, product strategy, client operations, marketing and investment strategy and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Adams Street product offerings, industry trends, competitive landscape, and the universe of prospective clients across assigned regions
  • Consistently looks for 'value adds' through service and selling ideas
  • Prepare and deliver customized client-facing materials in response to prospective and existing client requests
  • Identifies leads for new relationships within private wealth.
