Requirements
  • Associate's degree with 5 or more years of Workforce Management experience in a call or contact center environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing forecasts for a contact center environment.
  • Prior experience in a mentor, lead, or manager role within a workforce team.
  • Must be located in an eligible state (Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or West Virginia).
  • Candidates within a 40-mile radius of the Melbourne, Florida office must work onsite at least four days per week.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Agreement with the ministry's Statement of Faith.
  • Proficiency in forecasting within an Omni-channel platform including voice, chat, email, and text.
  • Advanced understanding of Automatic Call Distributor and Workforce Management reporting principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
  • Ability to utilize advanced Excel functions and Erlang C and Erlang X calculators for interval-level forecasting and staffing optimization.
  • Strong statistical, personal computer, and spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various work environments and shifts to match business operations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term and short-term volume forecasts and capacity plans by site and skill to meet service level commitments.
  • Lead weekly forecast review meetings with business partners to communicate volume expectations and guide resource optimization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to estimate staffing requirements for new product launches, program changes, and campaigns.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to assess evolving workload impacts and generate insights into staffing needs and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Translate forecasts into strategic action plans, identifying optimal staffing levels by skill and channel to meet operational demands.
  • Create ad-hoc reports to uncover impactful operational insights.
  • Mentor team members on forecasting and capacity planning best practices.
  • Identify root-cause reasons for forecast variance and recommend changes to meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Monitor external factors that may impact forecast volumes and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Inform and collaborate on hiring plans with leadership, training, and recruiting teams.
  • Monitor real-time performance metrics such as service level, Average Speed of Answer, Average Handle Time, and occupancy to adjust schedules or activities.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for remediation tactics based on intraday variances.
  • Assist in maintaining daily schedules and activities within workforce management and Automatic Call Distributor systems.
  • Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry’s beliefs.
Desired Qualifications
