Requirements
- Significant professional experience working with a publishing or online media company
- Proven work experience as a Digital Analytics Manager or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Demonstrated ability work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
- Proficiency communicating research results in written, visual and verbal form required
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to initiate and drive projects; ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time pressures
Responsibilities
- Supports web analytics code implementation to enable tracking of online properties. Ensure relevant traffic and key performance metrics are captured in order to provide actionable insights. Document all data standards and processes as appropriate
- Performs deep analysis on audience data using internal data sources to discover insights on traffic sources and patterns, navigation behavior, and engagement. Work on stakeholder-specific analysis including campaign analysis, customer segmentation and profiling. Identify successes, trends, and potential problem areas. Provides insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations to improve business performance
- Creates, manages and distributes data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting including graphical representation and written analysis utilizing online analytic tools and traditional reporting/analysis platforms
- Regularly monitor and analyze digital data from various sources such as websites, mobile apps, social media, and online advertising campaigns. Preference with Google Ad Manager
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards, presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders and management, clearly articulating recommendations to drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and IT, to ensure accurate data collection, integration, and reporting across digital platforms
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to enhance our digital strategies
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and industry standards related to digital analytics, providing recommendations for implementing new tools or techniques that positively impact performance
