POSITION OVERVIEW
As Coordinator, MiLB Club Services, you will work within the MiLB Business Operations group to facilitate club projects, create processes and procedures for gathering information from 120 MiLB clubs, and track progress among MiLB’s portfolio of projects. The Coordinator also manages projects as needed. The coordinator must work as a self-starter and be able to creatively solve problems. The right candidate is diplomatic, organized, an excellent communicator, and is someone who can multitask. This role requires being able to work well in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create and implement streamlined processes to gather information from 120 MiLB clubs
- Streamline system for club approval processes
- Maintain database of MiLB club contacts
- Organize and update resource library and assist MiLB clubs with access
- Manage and organize internal shared documents for MiLB Business Operations and cross-departmental contacts
- Support clubs in usage of third-party platforms
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across various MLB teams
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and self-directed
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, driven, upbeat, positive attitude
- Ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of partner personnel and MLB staff
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator preferred
- Strong familiarity with the game of baseball; baseball fan preferred.
- Previous work in baseball preferred
Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
