We are thrilled to go to market for the search of our new Project Manager. This is an exciting position and will be part of a newly formed European Engineering Hub. You will play an integral part in managing a team of multi-disciplined Project Engineers in the UK and across Europe.
As part of the extended global engineering leadership team, you will ensure the timely completion of a variety projects including improvement, sustainability, safety and growth across Europe – ensuring key milestones are achieved and projects delivered on time and budget.
As the Project Manager, you will:
- Lead a team of 4-6 mechanical project engineers
- Deliver capital and expensed engineering projects including multi-million-pound investments
- Work alongside the Project Operations Manager to deliver your projects to meet KPIs on Safety, Scope, Schedule and Cost.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and control all project management activities.
- Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Solenis technical requirements.
- Chair regular project meetings and prepare monthly status reports.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement measures with the Projects Team to deliver project objectives in terms of EHS, quality, cost, reliability and schedules.
- Work with your manager to identify your learning and development needs, and work towards an agreed learning and development plan.
The Individual
- Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Technically competent in mechanical engineering, preferably including knowledge of managing piping and civils contracts.
- A strong background in a project environment in the manufacturing industry
- Experience of delivery of Capital Projects through the utilization of internal and external resources
- People management experience would be desirable.
- Microsoft Word, excel, power point, Outlook.
