Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Technically competent in mechanical engineering, preferably including knowledge of managing piping and civils contracts.
  • A strong background in a project environment in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience of delivery of Capital Projects through the utilization of internal and external resources
  • People management experience would be desirable.
  • Microsoft Word, excel, power point, Outlook.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4-6 mechanical project engineers
  • Deliver capital and expensed engineering projects including multi-million-pound investments
  • Work alongside the Project Operations Manager to deliver your projects to meet KPIs on Safety, Scope, Schedule and Cost.
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and control all project management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Solenis technical requirements.
  • Chair regular project meetings and prepare monthly status reports.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement measures with the Projects Team to deliver project objectives in terms of EHS, quality, cost, reliability and schedules.
  • Work with your manager to identify your learning and development needs, and work towards an agreed learning and development plan.
