Requirements
- Create a world-class comms and engagement function, using data to inform the strategy
- Own the strategy for internal comms, culture and engagement
- Partner with Marketing and EB to ensure consistent campaigns and tone of voice through internal and external activities
- Pro-active sourcing of ideas, latest thinking around ways of working and content
- Bring best practice knowledge and experience to enhance our ways of engaging and communicating with our global and diverse workforce
- Create and manage our global 'ways of working' and assets including researching, devising, implementing and developing new and innovative ways to make the Zepz culture effective and engaging
- Oversee the planning, scheduling and organisation of regular in-person get-together events on a large scale to promote connection, engagement and motivation
- Work with ExCo to support ad-hoc comms and engagement projects
- Strong background in internal comms, change management and/or engagement at a digital/tech company; b2c organisation experience an advantage
- Strong project management and story-telling skills
- Experience developing a remote first approach in a globally distributed technology business
- Proven ability to work asynchronously and coach others to do so along with a propensity for documentation, knowledge taxonomy/codification
- Data-led approach
- Creative thinker - a problem solver, able to see a way through blockers to the bigger picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
Responsibilities
- Continue to drive a company-wide shift to remote-first ways of working
- Evolve thinking and operations to re-build workflows/culture to suit a virtual work environment
- Coach and educate teams to replace old habits (eg. defaulting to a meeting, working in silos, forgoing docs etc.) with more progressive ones as they scale and support remote work
- Pro-actively engage to address questions, issues and strategic implementation needs
- Knowledge management - responsible for a company-wide solution
- Be the 'guru' of remote and hybrid working building a 'remote-first' culture that is flexible, efficient and engaging
- Be up to date with technology, implementing the latest thinking to support remote working
- Work with leaders and managers to support effective teamwork
- Measure the success of remote working - what works, what doesn't
- Be a 'cheerleader' for remote working and ensure enthusiasm and the culture around remote ways of working is positive and attractive to colleagues and candidates
- Using data and analytics/reporting to help drive insights and recommendations
