Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or commensurate selection-criteria experience is required.
  • Experience with data integration or business intelligence testing in a complex environment using an engine-based extract, transform, and load tool is required.
  • Experience identifying, defining, and quantifying problems, collecting and interpreting data, establishing facts, and providing effective solutions is required.
  • Understanding of data models from both technical-solution and business-use perspectives is required.
  • Proficiency in writing complex Structured Query Language queries for testing operational data stores, data marts, and data warehouses is required.
  • Ability to work across multiple platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Ability to deliver quality results in a busy, dynamic, business-focused environment is required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to improving and promoting quality are required.
  • Ability to learn product and data architecture through existing diagrams, schemas, and blueprints is required.
  • Ability to document procedures and activities in an understandable manner using a prescribed format is required.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and exchange accurate information with customers and associates is required.
  • Ability to prepare written correspondence, reports, and forms using prescribed formats and established language conventions is required.

  • Ability to work extended hours during peak workloads or special projects and occasionally work after hours is required.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the SQA Manager or Director and project teams to establish data testing strategies, approaches, and plans for projects.
  • Design and implement test data management and testing frameworks using Informatica or similar technologies.
  • Apply enterprise test data management practices, including data masking, retention, historical data management, virtualization, sub-setting, synthesis, randomization, cleansing, refreshing, aging, cloning, archiving, versioning, disposal, prioritization, and traceability.
  • Manage the acceptance, provisioning, and fulfillment of data requests from ongoing projects, coordinating with the release team to align timelines with integrated application environments and code availability.
  • Use Informatica to test extract, transform, and load processes at data-acquisition stages including extraction from operational sources, Extensible Markup Language, IBM Db2, flat files, and Common Business-Oriented Language; transformation through merging, cleansing, scrubbing, and aggregation; staging; pre-load; and deployment to data warehouses and operational data stores.
  • Automate data warehouse and operational data store testing processes and validations using Informatica and other automation tools.
  • Test data quality and collaborate with the business team to document quality requirements.
  • Identify test data environment requirements and collaborate with infrastructure, network operations, environment, and release teams to establish environments for test data requests.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document test data requirements, identify common data elements, and establish business rules.
  • Create knowledge-management deliverables, including process and procedure documentation.
  • Develop an automation suite for master-data preparation across various applications.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Remain stationary for extended periods while working at a desk, on a computer, with standard office equipment, or in meetings.
  • Read and interpret correspondence, procedures, reports, and forms in paper and electronic formats, including visual inspection involving small defects or parts and operation of machinery using measurement devices.
  • Perform continuous computer work involving substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft certifications in C# and Structured Query Language, such as Microsoft Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, are preferred.
  • Current Certified Software Engineer certification is preferred.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification is preferred.
  • Quality Improvement Associate certification is preferred.
  • TDWI Data Warehouse certification or equivalent is preferred.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fidelity Investments®, the nation’s retirement leader1, announces the broad availability of Guaranteed Income Direct, a new solution allowing employees to convert all or a portion of their retirement savings – from a 401(k), 403(b) or 457(b) – into an immediate income annuity to provide consistent, pension-like payments2 throughout retirement.
