  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • 5+ years of work experience in technical program/project management
  • 3+ years of experience leading a project and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience in creating communication strategies for status, risks and solutions related to new initiatives and projects
  • Strong data management skills with the ability to clearly communicate milestones and deliverables to keep the program on track
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in cross-functional groups across multiple business units with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace
  • Willingness to travel when required
Responsibilities
  • Manage programs that will support Mercedes-Benz’ goal to “lead in software and electric” for customers in the US
  • Drive workstreams related to Infotainment and mobile applications technologies
  • Consolidate the US roadmap based on market requirements and customer pain points
  • Drive execution of specific program in the area of Infotainment and mobile applications
  • Connect market insights with regulatory and technical requirements and relevant data
  • Formulate and drive strategic projects from concept to execution
  • Contribute to the preparation of business cases based on multiple scenarios
  • Utilize program governance and reporting including project charter, risk matrix, communication, budgeting, dashboards and program reviews
  • Participate in technical working groups across different locations and units in the US
  • Generate regular project reports
