  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent in experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare administration environment
  • Experience dealing with multiple internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Experience advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
Responsibilities
  • Proactively monitoring Medicaid regulations for any new and/or amended requirements and submitting them for review for the Regulatory Change Management team
  • Developing a repository for all Medicaid regulations, guidance, and interpretation
  • Performing gap analysis of new states where the business is beginning to establish Medicaid contracts and working with business units to address gaps
  • Communicating with and building rapport with state Medicaid departments
  • Partnering with the Growth Strategy and Commercial Strategy teams to build rapport with contracted Medicaid Health Plans and participating in Provider Forums and onboarding discussions
  • Participating in state Medicaid audits, inspections, and surveys; providing audit readiness assessments and guidance to impacted business units
  • Instituting internal audit or monitoring activities for Medicaid related deficiencies
  • Managing development of corrective action plans in response to deficiency notices received from state Medicaid plans
  • Initiating and managing corrective action plans resulting from internal audits/monitoring activities
  • Other duties as assigned
