- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (ASCP) or eligibility for the license.
- Knowledge of Federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and New York State regulatory requirements.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
- Perform routine and STAT laboratory testing.
- Verify and communicate test results with a multidisciplinary team.
- Generalist experience in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank.
- Some microbiology experience, including polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and rapid testing.
- One to two years of recent experience.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
