Requirements
  • At least 5 years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Successful completion of FINRA background screening and compliance with ongoing regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans within Community Lending & Investment, focused on multifamily affordable housing.
  • Analyze and underwrite new loan opportunities using market research, internal loan information, client data, and third-party market research.
  • Review and make recommendations to approve or deny loan requests, extensions, and modifications.
  • Collaborate with senior management and coverage bankers to develop relationship optimization and deal-level execution strategies.
  • Interface with customers to identify needs and maintain relationships.
  • Perform sponsorship-level and loan-level financial analysis.
  • Complete in-depth property-level analysis and market research.
  • Present and advocate to the credit committee for loan approvals.
  • Work with outside counsel, internal compliance, and loan-closing teams to close modifications and new loans, including reviewing third-party reports and loan documentation.
  • Review and approve construction loan draws.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual portfolio reviews to identify potential concerns.
  • Conduct property tours and site visits.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the local commercial real estate market.
  • Supervise a team of analysts and conduct performance evaluations to support development and accountability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships while participating in the successful execution of complex transactions.
  • Familiarity with multifamily affordable housing, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
  • Familiarity with construction, bridge, letters of credit, permanent, and lines-of-credit facilities, as well as recourse/non-recourse and secured/unsecured loan structures.
  • Experience evaluating market conditions and identifying appropriate comparable properties.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment to analytical conclusions for credit approval, structuring, and management recommendations.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including advanced accounting and finance functions in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.

IDEX extends $800M credit facility maturity to 2031

IDEX Corporation has amended its revolving credit facility, extending the maturity date to September 3, 2031, from the previous November 1, 2027. The facility maintains its $800 million principal amount. The agreement, finalised on September 3, 2026, allows for up to $100 million in letters of credit and $50 million in same-day swingline loans. IDEX may request additional lending commitments, capped at a $400 million increase. Bank of America serves as administrative agent, with JPMorgan Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank as co-syndication agents. The proceeds will fund working capital and general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. The agreement includes standard covenants for senior unsecured credit facilities, featuring a quarterly-tested leverage ratio and restrictions on liens and mergers. Voluntary prepayments are permitted without penalty.
