Requirements
  • Design, develop, maintain, and operate solutions that power our public facing APIs and integrations with third party solutions.
  • Experience writing APIs and event-driven, distributed microservices in Python with frameworks like Tornado and Rejected.
  • Experience deploying applications onto a modern, hybrid platform using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to capture metrics with tools like statsd, Graphite, and Grafana.
  • Experience in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
  • Mentor others on your team to build efficient and reliable systems.
  • Produce secure, well-tested and maintainable code that balances competing priorities of a modern web platform while delivering for the customer.
  • Coach more junior developers through code reviews, paired programming, and providing technical thought leadership.
  • Work with a team to deploy new features or solve tough problems.
  • Assume intense ownership over your areas of responsibility, advocating for improvement and pushing to keep systems updated to current standards.
