Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce or post-sales systems roles, with 3+ years managing Salesforce systems.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing Salesforce teams, including architects and admins.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Knowledge Management, Case Management, Customer Portals, and Customer Success tools.
  • Strong understanding of post-sales processes (customer onboarding, support, renewals, success, professional services) and their system needs.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale Salesforce projects and managing complex post-sales system environments.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, sprint planning, and capacity/resource management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Solution Architects and Administrators, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Own the post-sales systems roadmap, focusing on Salesforce Service Cloud, Customer Success tools, Renewals, Knowledge Base, Case Management, Customer Portals, and integrations with related systems.
  • Translate business strategy into scalable system solutions; prioritize enhancements, integrations, and process improvements supporting post-sales functions.
  • Drive the delivery of high-impact projects, balancing strategic initiatives, operational support, and technical debt reduction.
  • Establish best practices for system architecture, governance, security, and release management across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Partner with post-sales stakeholders to define business requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, support SLAs, and team capacity; ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractor resources, and system partners as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Gainsight and Certinia preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant) preferred.
