Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in a people management role.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong ability to coach reps using a data-driven process to diagnose skill deficiencies, creating custom coaching plans, and demonstrating improvements in sales performance.
  • Deep experience designing and implementing high velocity sales process, compensation plans, and rules of engagement.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Slang is on Hubspot), sales automation tools, data analytics, and strategic planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, strategic thinking, customer-centric mindset, and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a team of 6 AEs that are focused on SMB and middle market deals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales process and strategy that aligns with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Define, achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and sales process optimization.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Account Management, Product & Engineering, Marketing, and Support, to support sales initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Understand restaurant industry market trends, and the competitive landscape to drive strategic decisions.
