Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology and engineering company whose mission is to enable the world’s transition to clean energy, with the ultimate goal to dramatically improve people’s quality of life while protecting the environment. This goal will be accomplished through the commercialization of the fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) that can be deployed with robust safety, affordable costs, and flexible operation to accommodate the expansion of variable renewables.
Job Summary
Kairos Power is seeking highly motivated early career individuals to join us this coming summer 2024! At Kairos Power, we have various business operations teams from Accounting and Finance, Business and Commercial Development, Strategy and Innovation, and Supply Chain and Procurement. Each of these teams directly contributes to Kairos Power’s mission by supporting daily activities, current and future growth needs, and work together to achieve optimal operating rhythm as an organization.

Qualifications
- Current student pursuing Bachelors, Masters, or MBA in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or related field
- Previous internship or work experience in area of interest preferred
- Proven team player with excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Provide and share lesson learned with cross-functional teams and offer innovative and creative ideas
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while safety conscious and manage competing priorities
- Ability to work well in an integrated collaborative team environment, including frequent interactions with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word) and other software systems

The hourly range for this position is $25-27 employees working onsite at our Alameda, CA headquarters. The range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired in California.
