Requirements

Masters degree in Computer Science, related technical field
3+ years of experience as a strong hands-on engineer
Experience in enterprise software development, test strategy and test execution for large scale distributed systems like storage, filesystems, databases, etc
Experience in Go, Java, C/C++, Python, Cloud deployment in AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Linux
Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment

Responsibilities

Own and drive non functional product requirements including performance, scale, longevity, stress and overall product quality for mission critical deployments of Alluxio product
Define product quality strategy working with product management and engineering leads
Execute the strategy by creating and enhancing test harnesses and writing new test cases
Work with customers, field teams and community users in understanding production workloads and usage trends and emulating them in-house
Work with engineering leads in ensuring product quality metrics and met for every release
Work with customer success and technical support teams as first line of triage of customer esclations

As the Product Quality Lead, you will drive and execute the strategy to ensure engineering deliverables meet the high quality needed for mission critical production deployments of enterprise customers working closely with product management, customer success, field and other engineering leaders. As a key member of the Engineering leadership team, you will jointly work to define and improve processes, culture and best practices to align with Alluxio’s rapid growth.
