Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general building troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs is required.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience and technical training is required.
  • Working knowledge of laptop and desktop personal computers is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel, is required.
  • Proficiency in G Suite, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Google Meet, is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • The candidate must be able to follow written instructions and use computers and software programs.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate expressively and receptively and maintain interpersonal relations with clients, tenants, and coworkers.
  • The candidate must be safety conscious and able to organize and prioritize tasks accurately and on time.
  • The candidate must be available for emergencies as part of a 24-hour on-call rotation or willing to work overtime on special projects.
  • The candidate must be able to walk extensively, climb stairs and ladders, and lift or carry at least 75 pounds using proper body mechanics.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software are required.
  • The candidate must have working knowledge of tools and their proper use.
  • The candidate must be able to develop and implement solutions to problems and adjust to changing circumstances.
  • The candidate must be skilled in using power tools and equipment.
  • The candidate must have previous experience in building repairs and installation.

  • The candidate must be able to use close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and analyze data and figures on a screen.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with installing supplies, equipment, and technology required for daily operations at new and existing facilities.
  • Work independently and make financial decisions on assigned projects.
  • Lead third-party vendors through audits and projects while assessing vendor competency and reliability.
  • Obtain job quotes from multiple suppliers and vendors and make business decisions based on those quotes.
  • Manage and maintain an emergency contingency fund for projects.
  • Evaluate job sites for compliance with Centria's Quality Assurance Audits.
  • Analyze vendor key performance indicators and create reports for leadership.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and transport non-medical equipment and furniture.
  • Supervise the transportation, offloading, and sorting of essential items.
  • Relocate assembled furniture and non-medical items.
  • Supervise and assist with maintenance at existing facilities.
  • Fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
  • Assist the supervisor with monthly Joint Commission inspections and quarterly quality assurance audits.
  • Supervise vendors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Institute and manage maintenance and operational best practices for buildings, grounds, and operating systems.
  • Apply Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, other regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices to maintenance work and testing.
  • Operate and manage Building Management Systems, including HVAC, lighting control, plumbing, and security.
  • Maintain the organization and inventory of supplies and tools.
  • Report violations of company policies or the Code of Conduct.
  • Work approximately 80% of the time traveling and accommodate occasional evenings, weekends, and schedule changes as project objectives require.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two to three years of experience in construction or new site openings is preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
  • Project Management, Construction Management, or Trade Education is encouraged.
  • Drywall and painting skills are a plus.
