Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, or other related field.
  • 5 years business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze business systems and procedures to produce complete end-to-end solution designs to enhance efficiency and maintain data integrity.
  • Provide functional design, and on-going support, for PeopleSoft HCM including integration with the Financials system (PeopleSoft FSCM) module, the Budget Planning system (Workday Adaptive), and Oracle Compensation module.
  • Create clear, concise functional and technical requirements/specifications, build and test plan documentation and applicable test scripts. Develop, deploy, and manage integrations, interfaces, queries, and reports.
  • Ability to work closely with the technical team to translate complex functional specifications into technical solutions and create test cases and regression scenarios.
  • Leverage system functionality and analytics to provide customers with the ability to make data driven solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with all levels of the organization for successful delivery of user and business needs.
  • Work closely with the Training and Communication team to ensure that impacted users understand and can successfully incorporate the solution and changes into their operations.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support to all high level, escalated Service Desk issues.
  • Maintain status of existing integrations by monitoring errors, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes or precautionary enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to effectively engage with business partners and solution vendors to build and convey compelling value propositions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and analysis for all audits from State, Grant, and Internal Audit.
  • Provide analysis and improvement recommendations for Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) processing.
  • Provide data and processes validation for PeopleSoft HCM Commitment Accounting, including the checking and verification during payroll processing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience navigating, querying, or troubleshooting enterprise relational database tables and data structures.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL for data validation, query writing and reporting across legacy and cloud environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency in cross platform human capital environments (specifically maintaining historical alignment or migration pathways between legacy and cloud layers).
  • Direct experience configuring and optimizing Oracle HCM cloud utilizing the Redwood User Experience.
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Performance Management and Compensation modules.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft security, process scheduler, query manager, and reporting tools to support business operations and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Benefits, Compensation, Position Management, and Payroll interfaces.
