Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant coding experience.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience securing cloud-based systems.
  • Security domain expertise in areas such as Threat modeling, Security Architecture, Security Monitoring, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response.
  • Experience designing reliable systems.
  • Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and any other FaaS or containerized workloads experience.
  • Showed ability with languages such as Java, Python, Go, and Rust.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, Container security, and continuous deployment systems.
  • AI/MLOps is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, stability, and security of CZI engineering.
  • Work with the existing infrastructure security team and other security stakeholders within the organization to ensure we’re doing the most impactful work we can for CZI.
  • Design and build tools and libraries, constituting a shared stack for use across 5+ engineering teams.
  • Evangelize and educate teams across CZI on best practices.
  • Driving impact across the company, CZI is constantly re-imagining how to secure our infrastructure best. One will work closely with the Product Security (ProdSec) team at the intersection of infrastructure, the application layer, and the ever-changing risk management landscape.
