Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in general practice, urgent care, and/or emergency medicine and specialty medicine
  • 3+ year of multi-unit leadership experience
  • DVM, VMD, or equivalent
  • State licensure that is in good standing OR eligibility for such licensure. To include all states for clinics under supervision
  • DEA licensure and CDS licensure if needed for all states for clinics under supervision
  • Experience with training, mentoring, and developing veterinary students, interns, and/or residents
  • A commitment to mentorship and elevating the next generation of vets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • Act as a mentor to medical leaders, including the development of new leaders in all markets
  • Partner with Regional Operations counterparts in creating high-performing business units and ensuring seamless clinic flow
  • Act as a thought partner with our Head of Medical Strategy in the creation, output, and maintenance of Bond Vet's new initiatives, contributes to the development and implementation of new practice protocols and guidelines
  • Spend time on the floor to understand how we can continue to optimize clinic flow, medical quality delivery, clinic performance, and identify knowledge gaps across all positions
  • Lead the identification of internal talent, elevation, and development of RMD's
  • Participates in talent acquisition efforts for Doctors and, when appropriate, HQ and support staff to ensure the recruitment of the highest caliber of veterinary talent
  • Acts as an ambassador of Bond Vet within the veterinary community and the public at large
