  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events and travel to event locations as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Play a vital role in planning and executing AV events, including roundtables, dinners, networking gatherings, and other formats. Assist with logistics such as scheduling, catering coordination, space set-up, guest check-in, and communication to ensure seamless experiences for all attendees.
  • Support the curation of events and content that foster meaningful connections and knowledge sharing across our network of portfolio companies, investors, employees, alumni, VCs, scouts, fellows, and partners. Assist in maintaining resource hubs and communication channels to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Draft and manage event-related communications, including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups. Collaborate with internal teams to amplify visibility and engagement through all marketing channels. Support the creation of materials that enhance investor and community interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, ensuring data is up-to-date and properly organized. Track and report on event performance metrics to inform future planning.
  • Maintain detailed playbooks and templates for digital and in-person initiatives to streamline execution and create efficiencies. Support the documentation of processes and incorporate feedback.
  • Build tools and automations that reduce manual work and increase team efficiency, using no-code, low-code, or AI solutions where appropriate. Help implement internal systems that tag, track, and optimize community engagement through 'vibe coding' and integrated technical workflows.
  • Coordinate in-office logistics, including working with vendors to manage meals, snacks, and supplies for the NY office, ensuring a well-prepared and welcoming environment.

Citra Space raises $15M Series A to identify and track 35,000 objects orbiting Earth

Citra Space Corp, a Colorado Springs-based space technology company, has raised $15 million in Series A funding led by Washington Harbour Partners. Industrious Ventures, Reliable Properties and existing investors including Scout VC and Squadra Ventures participated. Founded in 2024 by former US Space Force and Air Force officers, Citra develops space object identification technology to help operators understand what objects are orbiting Earth and their intent. Of the 35,000 objects currently in orbit, operators lack context about roughly 10,000 of them. The company merges multiple data sources to create persistent "fingerprints" of objects over time, providing operators with a consistent basis for identifying and characterising orbital activity. The funding will support development and deployment amongst commercial and government partners.
