Requirements
  • Experience operating Kubernetes environments; OpenShift experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Good Linux knowledge, ideally in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Bash or comparable tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles including continuous integration and continuous delivery, automation, and ownership.
  • Very good German language skills at least at level C1.
  • Willingness to learn complex platforms and take responsibility.
Responsibilities
  • Operate, stabilize, and further develop the OpenShift platform in an on-premise environment.
  • Administer and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and Red Hat Satellite.
  • Automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes using tools such as Ansible, Bash, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Plan and implement updates, patches, and lifecycle measures.
  • Monitor systems, analyze faults, and optimize performance using tools such as Grafana, Nagios, or PRTG.
  • Analyze and sustainably resolve incidents while continuously improving the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and further develop continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and platform standards.
