To accommodate our growth, we are seeking a Business to Business sales professional to generate new and recurring revenue through the sales and marketing of all of MRI’s Living Products: RentPayment, CheckPointID, Multifamily Insurance, Callmax, Resident Screening and others.
This is a great opportunity for dynamic sales professionals to expand MRI’s footprint to new clients within an assigned territory. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the following:
- Actively seek out and identify potential clients who can benefit from our Living solutions. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and online platforms to generate leads.
- Drive the entire sales process by targeting top prospects, identifying solutions, conducting software demonstrations, negotiating, and closing.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Provide regular updates to internal teams to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
- Work to identify and understand a client or prospect’s critical business needs and how they align with MRI’s solutions and services.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to proactively identify and sell new opportunities.
- Handle the contracting process and simple sales negotiations.
- Develop and implement integrated sales strategies in conjunction with other business units on shared opportunities.
- Submit standard sales metrics such as forecasting, pipeline, funnel, business plans, and other reports as necessary in a timely manner.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
- Exceed assigned annual sales quota.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience in business products or services
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship skills along with quality communications to keep account tasks on track
- Excellent time management, follow up skills, decision making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver powerful and confident presentations
- Ability to travel
