Responsibilities
  • Supervise the head office and customer service department, ensuring customers receive excellent service by telephone, email, and in person.
  • Ensure the accuracy and security of customer orders, personal information, and payment details.
  • Manage finances and accounts payable.
  • Develop the team and create a supportive, collaborative teamwork environment.
  • Liaise with head office to share feedback and ensure employees and managers have the information needed to perform their work effectively.
  • Manage spare parts, repairs, manufacturer returns, and damaged products.
  • Train and develop people and build a talent pipeline for future managers.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and onboard new employees, ensuring a positive and successful onboarding process.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial legislative requirements.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide a positive, seamless service experience.
  • Manage performance and develop action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process and submit payroll for all store employees.
  • Maintain open communication with all store departments.
  • Remain available and accessible to support the employee team.
  • Manage daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and lead effective, engaging meetings.
  • Assist the general manager and other department managers.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Ensure the general safety of the store, employees, and customers.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
