Software Engineer-DevEx DevOps-Escalation Engineer

ISG TechOps team includes DevSecOps, LabOps and services, and IT software and tools as well as Strategy and Transformation. We are seeking a passionate and skilled team of individuals who will focus on improving developer workflows and identifying opportunities to enhance the overall developer experience at scale. What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer-DevEx DevOps-Escalation Engineer in the Developer Experience (DevEx) team within Infrastructure Solutions, you'll focus on enhancing developer productivity and satisfaction. Key responsibilities include swiftly resolving complex developer experience issues, optimizing CI/CD pipelines with AI-driven automation, collaborating across teams to improve tooling adoption, and proactively addressing recurring problems through intelligent monitoring and automation.

​You will:

• Serve as the key escalation resource for technical issues impacting developer workflows, pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve critical incidents impacting software delivery and developer tooling.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and tools to optimize build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, SREs, and platform engineers to promote best practices and reliability.
• Document escalation procedures, automation workflows, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in escalation support, DevOps, or automation engineering focused on developer experience.
• Proficient scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, Groovy, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github actions, Artifactory), source control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, including pod and cluster management.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, technical escalation management, and effective communication. Provide Escalation/Technical Support from Sunday-Thursday.

​Desirable Requirements

• Experience using AI-driven automation tools to optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve incident response.
• Familiarity with AI-based monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
