  • Previous management experience is preferred
  • Previous experience with an ERP system is required, Netsuite a plus
  • TMS Software and EDI experience are an extreme plus
  • Manage the Logistics & Operations Customer Care team on a daily basis, including planning and coordinating schedules, training, and mentoring the team
  • Manage freight broker relationships, establishing & reviewing KPIs, conducting quarterly meetings, negotiating rates, and maintaining the long term growth strategy
  • Manage operational relationships with our Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers
  • Facilitate domestic and international freight operations through a Managed Transportation contract, freight brokerage firms, and carrier direct strategies
  • Monitor current and predictive freight market conditions and create functional reports for Leadership & Finance stakeholders
  • Conduct freight & warehousing cost analysis exercises at the direction of Leadership
  • Provide logistical support to the Procurement and Supply Planning Team, helping to identify opportunities for supply chain efficiencies
  • Onboard new business partners by partnering with Leadership, Finance and Legal teams to review and approve contracts and complete onboarding paperwork
  • Navigate and manage international shipping requirements
  • Review and approve freight invoices, monitor rates and work closely with the finance team to resolve any issues
  • Provide reports necessary to ensure accurate and consistent cross-functional Operations Team stakeholders
  • Research and develop relationships with technology partners to optimize, improve, and automate logistics processes
  • Manage operational process changes for the Logistics team, to include NetSuite, TMS, EDI, and other technical systems
  • Assist in solving any logistical issues in a timely manner as they arise, including mission-critical after-hours events
  • Perform day and evening shift Transportation Specialist duties, including on-call hours as necessary
