Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics for channels such as but not limited to SEM, Affiliate, Social, and Podcast.
  • Experience working with marketing measurement and attribution (e.g. MTA models), targeting and creative optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, and regression models.
  • Understands marketing metrics deeply; can partner and elevate our way of thinking about CAC, LTR, LTV, payback period, and retention.
  • Comfort partnering with marketing to design and execute incrementally testing, attribution or media mix modeling, and spend ROI curves.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools / platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Facebook).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design for A/B testing; knowledge of data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of being able to work independently and proactively engage cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
  • Automate daily and weekly marketing reporting by building reports, tables, and dashboards that are accessed and understood by Marketing, Engineering, and Finance in one centralized BI tool.
  • Build data pipelines from ad platforms (like Facebook or Google) and MMPs (like AppsFlyer) into a centralized data warehouse, piecing together key pieces of information in the user journey.
  • Build unified reporting dashboards in our BI tool for a full funnel view across our campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Marketing to define and report out on metrics like CAC, payback period, and LTV.
  • Design, implement, and assess the results from uplift and geo-split studies to measure incrementally across new channels, campaigns, or markets.
  • Build out a multi-touch attribution model in-house that spans user journeys across iOS, Android and Web platforms.
  • Evaluate additional tooling, being a key partner in build vs. buy decisions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs with alerting, conduct deep dives to identify significant shifts, trends and opportunities.
