Accommodation Attendant

Job Description

The Accommodation Agent is responsible for managing employee accommodation arrangements and ensuring that company-provided housing is safe, comfortable, well-maintained, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations. The role coordinates accommodation allocation, employee requests, maintenance, inspections, and communication with accommodation providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee accommodation allocation, room assignments, transfers, and check-ins/check-outs.
• Maintain accurate accommodation records and occupancy reports.
• Coordinate with employees regarding accommodation-related requests and concerns.
• Liaise with landlords, accommodation providers, maintenance teams, and service contractors.
• Conduct regular accommodation inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow up on repairs, cleaning, pest control, utilities, and other accommodation services.
• Ensure accommodation facilities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and employee welfare.
• Handle employee complaints and resolve accommodation issues promptly.
• Support new employees with accommodation arrangements during onboarding.
• Coordinate room changes and accommodation transfers when required.
• Monitor occupancy levels and identify available rooms/beds.
• Maintain documentation, invoices, contracts, and accommodation-related records.
• Prepare regular reports on occupancy, costs, maintenance, and accommodation issues.
• Ensure compliance with company accommodation policies and relevant local requirements.
• Work closely with HR, People & Culture, Payroll, Administration, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in employee accommodation, HR administration, hospitality, facilities, or a similar role.
• Experience managing staff accommodation or residential facilities is an advantage.
• Experience dealing with maintenance contractors and external service providers is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accommodation requests simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Customer-service and employee-focused approach.
• Ability to work with employees from different cultural backgrounds.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accommodation/HR systems.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours when accommodation emergencies or urgent issues arise.
