About the team
As a Business Operations Intern in the global Commerce organization, you will join the Commerce Cloud Operations Office, based in Munich, which provides services to our internal and external customers. These teams are based in Poland, Germany, Canada, England, and the US offering a diverse, global working environment.
The mission of the Commerce Cloud Operations Office is to enable operational excellence and improve people’s development, satisfaction and retention. Also, this team is the "Customer Office" for the products of Commerce Cloud.
What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Customer Experience, Business Operations
Location: Montreal, QC
Expected Start Date: January 2023
Contract Duration: 8 months, 40 hours per week
In this role, you will support or lead initiatives (from ideation to execution) that address business operational issues by researching and evaluating new measures or strategies to reduce waste and improve operational effectiveness through coaching or other means.
You will specifically influence change across the product organization by:
- Planning, working with stakeholders and colleagues, executing, and communicating internal/external customers of the global initiatives to improve employee satisfaction/retention as well as enabling operational excellence.
- As a project manager, you create a variety of report and perform analysis to track activity recording, portfolio and investment tracking. You work directly with managers and employee to ensure they are not enabled.
- Supporting the customer office as a project manager to ensure commitments are executed on time and milestones are accomplished.
- Supporting the report creation of business outcomes for some of the internal and external initiatives.
- Contributing to the commerce cloud newsletter to ensure people understand the latest information about our initiatives.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
We are looking for university students who have experience gained in a software/IT environment. Good knowledge of lean processes and agile frameworks is a plus. MBA student/graduate is a huge plus.
You should also have/be:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- The ability to think creatively and disrupt the status que
- Collaborative and respectful
- A global mindset, inclusive to world cultures
- Great people and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Work Experience
- You should have the necessary professional experience with managing topics ideally on a global level. Experience in business operations is a plus.
- Previous job titles you may have held include Project Manager, Program Manager, Scrum Master, Organizational Specialist, Organizational Improvement, Operations Specialist, Change Agent.
