As our Analytics Associate, you’d report to our SVP and Head of FP&A of Dataminr. You would be a key player in the development and execution of Dataminr’s short and long term financial analytics and modeling for supporting our strategic growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate complex, ambiguous business problems using data, analysis, and market research
- Provide business analysis, financial modeling, and related support on FP&A and Financial Strategy related projects including new business initiatives, strategic partnerships, and the short and long term strategic planning process.
- Perform financial analysis on company performance in light of both internal and external trends
- Create plans and presentations for the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Partner and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and leaders across the company
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in PE/VC Investing, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, and/or Product Management
- Experience and/or fundamental knowledge of Capital Markets and/or financial modeling activities e.g. valuations, financial planning, fundraising
- Strong, proven quantitative skills including financial modeling, analysis, and research
- Ability to think through and solve for complex problems creatively and strategically
- Desire and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate insight into content, and create structured presentations
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
