Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing
  • Industry experience in high tech industry is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and Adobe analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required
  • Demonstrable experience with email marketing and managing SEO/SEM and databases
  • Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
  • Experience with event management and execution preferred
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing website landing pages
  • Strong messaging and writing skills: ability to understand complex topics, extract key elements, create concise messaging, and anchor it across multiple disciplines
  • Able to tell a compelling story and effectively deliver the messages in various forms such as presentations, videos, blogs, and digital marketing content
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented with strong analytical skills and be able to conceptualize and simplify complex topics
  • Experience in B2B marketing campaigns including social media, and paid media experience is desired
  • In-depth knowledge of the wireless industry and/or mobile computing industries is desired but not necessary-excellent knowledge and experience in content creation and strong messaging skills are key
  • Experience with InDesign and Photoshop for the creation of creative assets used in social media platforms, email newsletters, events, digital communications, etc
  • Experience working with online platforms like constant contact, splash, MailChimp, etc
Responsibilities
  • Manage, plan, execute digital marketing activities including website, SEO/SEM optimization, maintaining marketing database, quarterly newsletter, social media & campaigns to create awareness for Qualcomm Ventures, while maintaining consistent brand messaging
  • Maintain qualcommventures.com on a regular basis, keeping content accurate and up to date and ensure we are communicating important information in the most effective way
  • Candidate will play major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving targeted user traffic to Qualcomm Ventures website
  • Run monthly website performance reports using Adobe analytics and measure against defined goals and KPI's
  • Identify trends and opportunities to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media and search and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Propose new ideas for digital marketing campaigns, content, website or events that raise brand awareness among target audience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to update website content, create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Manage and work with web agency to ensure we are optimizing our spend and proactively managing website optimization as well as the successful implementation of updates and new pages and features on the website
  • Develop digital and print marketing assets for event collateral, presentations, email marketing, social cards, videos, etc
  • Contributes to designs and builds for social media channels including providing recommendations on increasing followers and engagement
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and proposing solutions
  • Develop and execute quarterly external newsletter identifying key pieces of information to highlight and work with internal stakeholders to get feedback and approval
  • Continuously measure performance of newsletter and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Contribute to written content such as blogs and case studies by writing or working with external agency to draft content. Ensure that content remains on brand and effectively communicates technical concepts, our role and strategic relevance to Qualcomm
  • Work with internal communications team on QC Daily news stories that help highlight the value Qualcomm Ventures brings to Qualcomm and/or key portfolio company success stories
  • Manage the venue selection process- research, sourcing, site visits, negotiations, procurement process
  • Work with vendors at hotels/restaurant venues/Qualcomm locations to source F&B, printing of assets, venue décor, set up, registration, etc
  • On-site event management and execution
  • Create save-the-date and digital invitation as needed
  • Manage event webpage and invite lists, design invitation and post event survey
  • Measure event performance and report on outcome and any possible improvements
