Our offices are currently remote. Forbes aims to offer employees the flexibility they need to be successful. Upon our return to the office, the expectation is that this role can be based out of Jersey City, NJ.
The Accolades Store Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Forbes Growth team.In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day management of our Accolades Product Store on the Shopify platform. The Accolades Store will offer products designed for listees named to the many world-famous Forbes lists and rankings including America’s Best Employers and Global 2000. The coordinator will work with all internal stakeholders to ensure the store reflects current information pertaining to the Forbes lists and will manage the sales process from beginning to end. This process includes tracking new orders as they enter the system, monitoring when payment is made, interacting with clients as needed and working with the art department to create product proofs for client approval. You will work with outside vendors to create the products and ensure final delivery. The Accolades Store Coordinator will report directly the Group Vice President Strategic Partnerships & Licensing.
The main responsibilities include strong client and vendor relations, order tracking and fulfillment, reporting on trends and buying habits, ensuring site efficiency and maintaining up to date information on products and sales. You will need to be familiar with Forbes Lists and the products offered around them. To ensure a stable and secure sales and reporting process, you will work across departments with finance, sales, marketing, product and design.
The ideal candidate is smart, energetic, friendly, and polished with strong verbal communications skills. An analytical mind is just as necessary as an outgoing personality. The role requires great customer service skills and attention to detail. Must be familiar with online shopping platforms, salesforce and common reporting tools including Office. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously a must. This is a position for a motivated and passionate individual looking for a fast-paced, dynamic role that touches many parts of the media and licensing business.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm daily store operations are functioning properly.
- Monitor new orders and order payments.
- Maintain detailed records of each sale and order process through to completion.
- Interact with clients on creation of proofs and securing approvals.
- Work with internal and external partners to deliver finished products.
- Consider new products and promotions to share with management.
- Monitor sales trends and make recommendations to management.
- Support overall efforts of the Forbes Accolades Team.
The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000
Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith. The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate. In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
