Anthelion Capital manages private market investments with a focus on credit and direct lending. It uses an AI software platform, supported by a data science team, to perform credit underwriting and ongoing portfolio management for broadly syndicated bank loans and direct lending, while also providing insights to portfolio companies. The firm also serves as the investment manager for Alphite Capital, a specialty finance company focused on middle-market and syndicated loans. Its platform combines data-driven analysis with flexible capital to target excess risk-adjusted returns and to support capital deployment for private market opportunities. Anthelion is backed by large institutional investors and has about $3 billion in assets under management as of September 30, 2025. The company aims to grow risk-adjusted returns by applying advanced AI techniques to private-market credit and by offering flexible financing solutions to companies.

  • Middle-market bank loan sourcing creates proprietary deal flow and origination advantage.

What critics are saying

  • CLO issuance depends on stable broadly syndicated loan markets and investor demand.
  • Key-person concentration around founders threatens fundraising, sourcing, and investment committee continuity.

What makes Anthelion Capital unique

  • AI-driven underwriting supports loan selection across primary and secondary markets.
