  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field); non-degreed Assessors must have 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and technique
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Requires a working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb ladders
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Applicants selected for employment may be subject to a federal background investigation and may need to meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials
  • Project definition, planning and management experience
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and monitor field assessment data
  • Assist in developing cost estimates
  • Support global facilities assessment work
  • Perform facility evaluations by applying architectural and/or engineering standards, practices, and techniques
  • Visually evaluate the architectural/MEP building systems, gather data, and note any deficient conditions
